I felt Dr. Cortolillo was very knowledgeable regarding my diagnosis. I was especially grateful for the education he passed on to me regarding my options going forward. It gives me a look at the big picture. He gave me pros and cons allowing me to make my decisions based on my individual needs. Most of all I feel like he really cared about the fears I have. Very important to me. The staff members he brought with him were also helpfull. I will continue to follow up with Dr. Cortolillo.

My long wait was due to the doctor being held up in surgery. I certainly understand the importance of surgery over a office visit. It might have worked better if someone had called me and told me to arrinve later for my appointment. I cant say enough about Dr. Cortilio as a person and a doctor. I have not experienced such kindness and compassion from a surgeon in many many years. He took the time to be sure I understood the procedures and possible outcomes several times. Care I received in the hospital was completely the opposite . I felt like I was in a third world country.
