El Dr. Luis Rodríguez, F.A.M.S.S.M., es médico de medicina primaria deportiva en Baptist Health. Actualmente se desempeña como médico de equipo del Inter Miami C.F., del equipo de esquí de Estados Unidos, del Miami F.C. y de los atletas de Florida International University, así como de diversas universidades. Posee una certificación de la Junta de Especialidades en medicina interna y primaria deportiva y es socio de la American Medical Society for Sports Medicine (Sociedad Médica Estadounidense de Medicina Deportiva) y del American College of Sports Medicine (Colegio Estadounidense de Medicina Deportiva).

Dr. Rodriquez was very caring. He explained that my condition was mostly due to my back and not my hip. He referred me to another spine ortho doctor. IN the meantime he did give me a referral for physical therapy which was very helpful.

Dr. Rodriguez explained my problem very clearly. He took interest in detailing the treatment. He took interest in my case even though I am 88 years old and physicians tend to disregard the complaints. Kudos for him. He is a keeper.

I work for a doctor and was told to take a certain medication. (Knowing I hate pills, and would rather heal my body more naturally or with physical activities. He explained to pros and cons of the medication & advised against it based on my visit and medical records provided. I appreciated that he "heard" me & how I wanted to approach the healing process. It's one of the reasons I decided to see the specialist that was more sports minded.
