I have already written that in relation to Dr. Ruiz and the staff who work for him, everything is excellent at the Mariners Baptist Hospital in Tavenier. There, when they changed my primary care doctor, the Dr. I was assigned from the black race who I thought was racist, refused to even give me the refills or prescriptions of the medications I had taken for a long time and even advised me to go to a clinic that she said was on Big Pine Key. That Dr. who I understand is still in that office that belongs to Baptist Hospital in Marathon treated my husband like a dog. I had to go out and look for another primary care physician elsewhere and, I found a Dr. in Key West who consults in a doctor's office that belongs to Mount Sinai hospital and there they treated me, they gave me the refills of my medications and to this day is where I see my primary doctor still today.
