Baptist Health South Florida
Dr. Elaina Rosario is the Clinical Pharmacy Coordinator at Baptist Health South Florida primarily located at the Family Medicine Center at West Kendall Baptist Hospital. She is responsible for clinical activities such as serving as a preceptor to pharmacy students and pharmacy residents, chronic disease state management, specialty medication counseling, medication therapy management, and medication coverage support for the Baptist Health Medical Group Primary Care and Endocrinology offices. She also serves as a liaison between the pharmacy and clinic leadership to help expand ambulatory care pharmacy services.
Dr. Quadri joined Baptist Health in 2018 as a Cardiology Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at BHM and later transitioned to Ambulatory Care Services in 2020 as the Clinical Pharmacy Specialist covering the MCVI Cardiology Heart Failure Clinic. She has since transitioned to our population health team. She also serves as a preceptor for both pharmacy residents and NSU and University of Florida students and holds certifications in Anticoagulation Management, Medication Therapy Management, Immunization Administration and Collaborative Practice Agreements.
Dr. Angelica Berni is the Director of Specialty Pharmacy Services for Baptist Health South Florida. Dr. Berni joined the BHSF team in 2018 and has overseen the expansion of specialty medication supply chain across the outpatient segment of the health-system during her tenure.
Dr. Berni is a graduate of Palm Beach Atlantic University College of Pharmacy, where she received her PharmD. She also holds a Master’s of Science in Pharmacy Practice/Administration. Dr. Berni completed a dual PGY1/PGY2 Residency program at The University of Kansas Health system in Health System Pharmacy Administration. She is a Board-Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist, has a Consultant Pharmacist license in the State of Florida and a Preceptor Training Certification.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Dr. Berni participates as a member of a number of pharmacy-facing organizations—including The National Community Oncology Dispensing Association (NCODA), The Florida Society of Health-System Pharmacists (FSHP) and The American Association of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP).
Dr. Emilie Collongette is a Primary Care Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at Baptist Health South Florida and proud graduate of our residency program.
Dr. Collongette obtained her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Florida College of Pharmacy. She completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency at the Miami VA Healthcare System and an Ambulatory Care PGY2 Residency at Baptist Health South Florida. Dr. Collongette is a Board Certified Medication Therapy Management Specialist and licensed Consultant Pharmacist in the State of Florida.
In her current role, Dr. Collongette has an established collaborative practice agreement with Baptist Health Medical Group Primary Care providers in the management of hypertension, type 2 diabetes, hyperlipidemia, and weight loss. She also serves as a preceptor for APPE students and PGY1 and PGY2 pharmacy residents. Dr. Collongette is an active member of Florida Society of Health-System Pharmacists (FSHP) and participates in the ambulatory care clinical forum.
Dr. Michael DeCoske is the Assistant Vice President of Ambulatory Pharmacy Service for The Baptist Health South Florida Clinical Pharmacy Enterprise. Since joining the health-system in 2018, Dr. DeCoske has overseen the expansion of Baptist Health South Florida’s Pharmacy footprint into the ambulatory segment of clinical services.
Dr. DeCoske is a graduate of Duquesne University, where he obtained his PharmD. Dr. DeCoske completed a PGY1 and Health System Pharmacy Administration (PGY2) Residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina. Prior to this role, he served as Associate Chief Pharmacy Officer for Ambulatory Services at Duke University Hospital in Durham, North Carolina. He also holds distinction as a Board-Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist.
Dr. DeCoske is committed to professional pharmacy involvement. He currently serves as Chair of the Section of Specialty Pharmacy Practitioners Business Development Section Advisory Group. He is a co-author of the ASHP Pharmacy Leadership Field Guide.
Dr. Karina Gonzalez-Jacobo earned her Doctor of Pharmacy and Master in Business Administration concurrently from Nova Southeastern University in Davie, FL in 2018. She completed her PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at Cleveland Clinic Florida in 2019.
Dr. Gonzalez-Jacobo started her career at Baptist Health South Florida as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at South Miami Hospital focusing on and supporting clinical pharmacy operations within the emergency department. Dr. Delgado is now dedicated and involved in managing patients on their specialty medications, and ensuring enrolled patients are successfully treating their rare conditions and achieving the best possible clinical outcomes by supporting our patients at each step in their therapeutic journey. Dr. Delgado plays an integral role in working with our Ambulatory Division and interdisciplinary teams to provide specialized care to patients by reviewing medication regiments and needs for patients, while maintaining the quality, safety, and consistency of clinical pharmacy services in our specialty populations.
Dr. Frederick earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Florida College of Pharmacy in 2013. Following graduation, he completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice residency followed by a PGY2 Infectious Diseases residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL. After completing residency training, he served as an Infectious Diseases Clinical Pharmacist at Atrium Health in Charlotte, NC. From 2016 to 2022, Dr. Frederick was the Infectious Diseases Clinical Coordinator for Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, Fl. He joined Baptist Health South Florida in 2022 as the Clinical Pharmacy Ambulatory Infectious Diseases Coordinator. Dr. Frederick is dual board certified in pharmacotherapy (BCPS) and infectious diseases (BCIDP) and is a member of the Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists (SIDP), Making a Difference in Infectious Diseases (MAD-ID), and the Florida Society of Health Systems Pharmacists (FSHP). Dr. Frederick has also served as a preceptor for pharmacy students, PGY1 pharmacy residents, and PGY2 pharmacy residents.
Dr. Amanda Gronniger earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from University of Missouri-Kansas City. Following graduation, she completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency with an emphasis in ambulatory care at AdventHealth Celebration in Celebration, FL. After completing residency training, she started her career at Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph, MO as a clinical pharmacist where she worked primarily on the cardiology step-down unit and served as PGY1 cardiology and anticoagulation preceptor.
Dr. Gronniger joined Baptist Health in 2023 as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist covering the MCVI Cardiology Lipid, Cardiometabolic, Hypertension, and Sleep Medicine clinics. She is a member of the Florida Society of Health-System Pharmacists (FSHP) and participates in the ambulatory care clinical forum. Dr. Gronniger is a Board-Certified Cardiology Pharmacist and licensed Consultant Pharmacist in Florida. She also holds certifications in Diabetes Management, Immunization Administration, and Collaborative Practice Agreements. She has also served as a preceptor for APPE students for multiple pharmacy schools, PGY1 pharmacy residents, and PGY2 pharmacy residents.
Dr. Jacqualine Igwe is the Medication Safety, Quality and Accreditation Coordinator at Baptist Health Specialty Pharmacy and Ambulatory Pharmacy Services. Dr. Igwe leads and supports the specialty pharmacy and other outpatient and ambulatory services such as retail, pharmacy infusion and ambulatory settings for any safety, quality and accreditation needs. She also oversees Call Center operations at the Specialty Pharmacy.
Dr. Igwe completed her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University. She pursued a PGY1 Pharmacy residency at Memorial Hospital Pembroke and further pursued a PGY2 Specialty Pharmacy Administration and Leadership residency at University of Chicago Medicine. Dr. Igwe is a Diplomat of Pharmacy Leadership Academy (DPLA) and obtained her teaching certificate from University of Kentucky.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Dr. Igwe participates as a member of American Association of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) and Florida Society of Health-System Pharmacists (FSHP).
Dr. Beatriz Jimenez Cadilla is a Clinical Ambulatory Pharmacy Specialist, providing services at the Boca Del Mar Primary Care Clinic in Boca Raton, FL. Dr. Jimenez Cadilla received her Doctor of Pharmacy from University of Wisconsin, Madison. Following graduation, she completed her PGY1 Community Pharmacy Practice Residency at Intermountain Healthcare, Salt Lake City, Utah and her PGY2 Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Practice Residency here at Baptist Health South Florida. Upon completion of post-graduate residency training, she accepted a position as a Clinical Ambulatory Pharmacist at the Baptist Health Specialty Pharmacy where she helped expand Neurology specialty pharmacy services. In her current clinic, Dr. Jimenez Cadilla is responsible for providing pharmacy services including chronic disease state management, medication counseling, and assisting with medication coverage/patient assistance programs.
Dr. Sheerida Hosein Mohammed obtained her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Nova Southeastern University in 1999. She completed Pharmacy Practice residency at Broward Health, Fort Lauderdale Fl in 2000. Upon completion of the residency program, she continued her career as Disease State Management pharmacist then as Pharmacy Clinical Coordinator for Ambulatory Services at Broward Health. After 16 years at Broward Health, Dr. Hosein Mohammed served as the Pharmacy Clinical Coordinator at Memorial Primary Care, Hollywood FL from 2016 to 2022.
Dr. Hosein Mohammed is currently the Pharmacy Clinical Coordinator for Population Health. Dr. Hosein Mohammed is Board Certified in Ambulatory Care (BCACP) and is also a Certified Diabetes Care & Education Specialist (CDCES). She is a member of the Florida Society of Health System Pharmacists (FSHP) and the Association of Diabetes Care & Education Specialists (ADCES).
Vivian Nguyen, PharmD, BCPS practices as a Pharmacy Supervisor overseeing the Oncology in Investigational Drug Services at the Miami Cancer Institute at Baptist Health South Florida. She earned her Bachelor of Science degrees in Biochemistry and Nutritional Science from the University of Florida, followed by her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Florida, College of Pharmacy, Jacksonville. After graduation, she completed both her PGY1 Pharmacy Practice and PGY2 Investigational Drugs and Research residency programs at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. She also became board certified in Pharmacotherapy during that time. Dr. Nguyen possesses a strong interest in teaching and education, exemplified by her completion of a teaching certification through her residency program and her experience serving as a mentor and preceptor to students and residents.
Maria E. Pulido MS, PharmD, CPh, AAHIVP, CSP graduated from the University of Florida with a double bachelor’s in microbiology and Cell Science and Spanish. She attended Florida International University (FIU) where she completed a master’s degree in biology and continued her post graduate studies at Nova Southeastern University College of Pharmacy (NSU-COP), where she obtained her Doctor of Pharmacy degree. She completed a PGY1 in Community (Specialty-based) Pharmacy at Walgreens and NSU College of Pharmacy and continued her post-graduate career as a specialty pharmacist at Chroniscript, a Walgreens Pharmacy. She has prior experience clinically managing patients with HIV/AIDS, solid organ transplant, chronic inflammatory diseases, osteoporosis, oncologic and fertility disorders. She has previous experience as the resident coordinator and preceptor for the PGY1 Community Pharmacy at Walgreens and NSU College of Pharmacy. She is currently a preceptor for NSU College of Pharmacy, PBA College of Pharmacy and USF College of Pharmacy students.
Dr. Pulido is the program coordinator for the PGY1 Community Pharmacy program and serves in external committees including the AAHIVM Committee Members and the NASP CSP Examination Item Writers and Reviewers.
Dr. Rubi received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2022 from Florida A&M University, College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Institute of Public Health. She completed a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency at Homestead Hospital, then a PGY2 Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Resident at Baptist Health. During her residency years, she served as the resident representative of the Graduate Pharmacy Education Committee. Dr. Rubi will now be working within the Heart Failure Clinic at MCVI.
Beyond professional achievements, Dr. Rubi enjoys arts and crafts (currently focusing on crochet), beach days, and trying new GF vegan recipes.
Dr. Suros graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Chemistry in 2000, and upon graduation, she worked as a Chemist at Teva pharmaceuticals in the Research and Development department. Her main responsibility involved the validation of analytical protocols and experiments in the submission of new pharmaceuticals for FDA review.
In 2007, Dr. Suros, received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Nova Southeastern University. Following graduation, Dr. Suros worked as a community pharmacist before joining the inpatient team at Memorial Health System (MHS). After2.5 years with the inpatient team she was giving a management position at one of the new MHS outpatient pharmacies. In that role, she worked transitioning discharged patients home and helping them with their bedside delivery service. She exceled at her customer service skills and received the pharmacist of the year award twice while on that position. Currently, her areas of interest include pharmacy law and regulations, and the implementation of different programs in pharmacy practice specially Medication Therapy Management (MTM) and Collaborative Practice Agreements (CPAs).
However, her biggest passion are her two children: Ricky and Ryan. Spending time with them and her husband Randy is by far what she enjoys the most.
Madison Wood, PharmD, CPh, BCPS received her Doctorate of Pharmacy from Nova Southeastern University College of Pharmacy in 2020. She completed her PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency and her PGY-2 Internal Medicine Residency at Memorial Hospital West. Upon completion of the residency program, Madison started her career as a clinical pharmacy specialist at Memorial Hospital West.
Dr. Wood is currently a Clinical Ambulatory Pharmacy Specialist at Baptist Health Specialty Pharmacy. She provides additional services at the Marcus Neuroscience Institute outpatient clinic affiliated with Boca Raton Regional Hospital in Boca Raton, FL. Madison works with interdisciplinary teams to provide specialized care to patients in Neurology to ensure their access to medications, disease state understanding, successful treatment of their conditions and achieve the best possible clinical outcomes. She is a member of the American Association of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) and Florida Society of Health-System Pharmacists (FSHP). She also serves as a preceptor for NSU, USF and PBA APPE students.
