Eligibility Requirements and Application Schedule
Our program attracts, educates, and retains exceptional healthcare talent to serve the South Florida community. Program participants will be trained in the Baptist Health Way with a focus on quality, inclusion, compassion, and collaboration.
Program Eligibility
- Pharm.D. degree from an ACPE accredited college of pharmacy
- Completion of an ASHP accredited PGY-1 pharmacy residency (certificate required)
- Must obtain a Florida pharmacist’s license
Application Requirements
Prospective residents are required to submit the following:
- Curriculum Vitae
- Official transcripts from all colleges of pharmacy attended
- Three letters of recommendation from professional references utilizing standard form required by PhORCAS™
- Personal statement of intent

Core Learning Experiences
Our program curriculum incorporates several core learning experiences:

Primary Care (4-6 weeks)
Cardiology I – HF Clinic (4-6 weeks)
Specialty Pharmacy (Clinical) (4-6 weeks)
Population Health I (4-6 weeks)
Pharmacy Administration (4-6 weeks)
Endocrinology (4-6 weeks)
Cardiology II – Lipid/Cardiometabolic Clinic (4-6 weeks)
Longitudinal Learning Experiences
Our program curriculum incorporates several longitudinal rotations, immersing trainees in particular areas of study throughout the entire duration of the training program.

Core experiences are preferably scheduled earlier in the residency training. However, electives maybe completed beforehand as a part of customization, but only after successful completion of the core Medication Utilization learning experience. Elective learning experiences include:
