Technical Requirements and Support

Technical Support: If you are experiencing technical difficulties or have received an error message please send an email to CME@BaptistHealth.net and include a print screen of the error message, your browser, browser version, username and URL where the error occurred. Please anticipate a response within 48 hours.

AOL USERS: We recommend that you use a standard web browser (e.g., Google Chrome) and that you enable cookies and pop-up windows.

Audio: For all CME activities featuring audio you must have a sound card and speakers.

Firewall: If you encounter issues with your firewall, please contact your IT administrator or technical services provider.

Internet connection:  An Internet connection with a minimum 56Kbps modem is suggested.
 
CME Catalog and Online Course Pages
Pop-up blocker: You will no longer need to disable your computer’s pop-up blocker. When prompted select "launch" to view online courses in a new window.
 
Required hardware/software: This site is best viewed on the two most recent stable releases of the following browsers for all public pages.
 
PCs Running Windows
•    Google Chrome (Preferred): Download free web browser for PC, Mac, phone and tablet.
•    Internet Explorer (IE 11 and above recommended): You will be prompted to download videos before you are able to view. Click “download” to view video.  After a momentary pause, the recording will play.
•    Mozilla Firefox: You may be prompted under the “This Connection is Untrusted” screen to add “cmeonline.baptisthealth.net” and “cdn.baptisthealth.net” under “add exceptions”.
 
Apple Computers Running OSX
•    Google Chrome (Preferred): Download free web browser for PC, Mac, phone and tablet.
•    Safari
•    Mozilla Firefox: You may be prompted under the “This Connection is Untrusted” screen to add “cmeonline.baptisthealth.net” and “cdn.baptisthealth.net” under “add exceptions”.
 
This site uses a responsive design, which allows the page layout of elements to change depending on the screen resolution. Certain functionality may change based on the resolution of smaller screens, such as the number of columns in a table.

Webcasts
While the presentations may be viewable on systems that don't meet these criteria, it is recommended that your computer meet the minimum system requirements. Visit the Cisco WebEx Meeting page for system requirements and recommendations. Please plan to connect to the webcast transmission 15 minutes prior to the start time to test your connectivity.
 
Technical Support: If you have technical difficulties accessing a webcast, please first consult Cisco WebEx minimum system requirements. If your system meets these parameters, call technical assistance at 866-229-3239 (U.S. and Canada toll-free) or 408-435-7088, Option 1 (international toll).
