National Library of Medicine
The NLM Gateway portal leads to the following highly recommended, authoritative websites:

  • MEDLINE also known as Pubmed, indexing over 7,000 journals of the world's medical literature from 1966 to present.
  • Medline Plus reliable health information for patients and consumers in English and Spanish.
  • Clinical Trials for disease-specific information.
  • National Cancer Institute's Cancernet for both health care professionals & patients, includes cancer-specific clinical trials.
  • Loansome Doc fast access to articles cited in Medline/Pubmed.

    Search the Copyright Clearance Center database to verify that the reprint/article you are using is covered by Baptist Health's annual Copyright License.

    Portal to lots of FREE resources such as: Online Encyclopedias, FirstSearch, InfoTrac, GeneralReferenceCenter, LearnATest, ERIC (FirstSearch), Health and WellnessResourceCenter and Alternative Health Modules.
