Care On Demand is not currently reimbursed by insurance. As a consumer health service, like many apps or services you may know, the billing is clear and simple – you pay the price you see before your visit.
How much does a visit cost?

It's $59 per visit, and there's no membership or subscription to the service required.
Do I need an account to use Care On Demand?

Once you download the Care On Demand app, you will create your profile using basic personal information. You'll then receive an email with instructions on how to access your online account and begin your doctor visit.
Is my information secure?

The Care On Demand app allows for a safe and confidential virtual visit with a doctor. All information obtained during enrollment, including your credit card number and personal health details, is protected and HIPAA-compliant.
Can my child visit with a doctor?

Yes, Care On Demand can be used for children ages 2 and up. When you create your profile and select a doctor, you'll be asked whom the visit is for. At that point you'll provide your child's information.
How do I contact my doctor after the visit?

The most direct way to contact your doctor is through the secure mailbox on your Care On Demand account. You will notice a “reply” arrow that you can press to reply.
How do I add my pharmacy?

How come my video won’t connect?

What does the Message button do?

You can use the Message button to send secure, HIPAA-compliant messages and photos to the doctor. This can be helpful if you need to show images of certain conditions, such as rashes or cuts. Please note that messages are not read immediately and should not be used during your session with the doctor.
Why am I required to provide my phone number?

In case there's an interruption in service during your session, the provider will be able to call you back. The doctor may also want to follow up with you by phone after your visit.
