Pediatric Rehabilitation

Baptist Health believes in helping every child reach their full potential. Our compassionate, multidisciplinary pediatric rehabilitative care helps accomplish this mission, even for premature infants, children with developmental delays or those who struggle with illness or injury. From the tiniest babies to adolescents, Baptist Health’s bilingual staff provides specialized support.

Our multidisciplinary team is made up of caring individuals trained in developmental pediatrics, nursing, occupational/physical therapy, psychology and speech/language pathology. Our social workers help families handle the stress that often comes with caring for a special needs child. In cooperation with your child's physician, we can refer you to specialists in genetics, neurology, ophthalmology, gastroenterology, orthopedics, psychiatry, otolaryngology and other medical specialties, if needed. Best of all, we provide these services in a warm, kid-friendly environment that makes patients and families feel welcome.

Our team enhances quality of life for children with a variety of conditions, including:

  • Autism
  • Birth defects
  • Brain injuries
  • Cerebral palsy
  • Developmental delays

  • Hearing disorders
  • Low birth weight
