The Baptist Health Neuroscience Center was established in 2001 to diagnose and treat patients with a variety of common and complex conditions affecting the brain, spine and nervous system. The Center's specialists are some of Miami-Dade's most experienced.

The main hub of the Center is located on the second floor of the Victor E. Clarke Pavilion on the Baptist hospital campus. However, the Center has a presence at all Baptist Health hospitals with physician offices located throughout Miami Dade County. The main hub consists of a 48-bed inpatient unit with 12 of the 48 beds dedicated to caring for acute neuro-progressive care patients. The neuroscience patient care center is staffed by an experienced team of clinicians, including 17 certified neuroscience registered nurses, a unit-based hospitalist, unit-based advanced registered nurse practitioners and patient outcome facilitators.
