About Baptist Health Neuroscience Center

The Baptist Health Neuroscience Center was established in 2001 to diagnose and treat patients with a variety of common and complex conditions affecting the brain, spine and nervous system. The Center's specialists are some of Miami-Dade's most experienced. They work as a team to treat patients at all Baptist Health hospital campuses and at our central facility, the Neuroscience Patient Care Center.

The Center is located on the second floor of the Victor E. Clarke Pavilion on the main hospital campus. It is a 48-bed inpatient unit with 12 of the 48 beds dedicated to caring for acute neuro-progressive care patients. The Neuroscience Patient Care Center is staffed by an experienced team of clinicians, including 17 Certified Neuroscience Registered Nurses, a unit-based hospitalist, unit-based Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioners and Patient Outcome Facilitators.
