Care and Counseling Services

Mother and DaughterProviding Holistic (Mind, Body and Spirit) Counseling to the Community
Care and Counseling Services, under the guidance of Baptist Health South Florida’s Pastoral Care Services, provides confidential and compassionate counseling support to members of our community who are seeking help during crises or opportunities for growth and enrichment in their lives. Our counselors draw upon medical. behavioral and spiritual health resources in helping clients. We seek to achieve a healthy balance between emotions, behavior, health and faith. We provide professional, high-quality, counseling and educational services to individuals, couples, families and congregations in our community.

We also offer counseling and support groups with common concerns, such as parenting, grief & loss, trauma recovery and care-giving stress. We can also provide education for groups, churches and organizations on issues such as autism awareness, how to deal with anxiety & depression, classroom strategies for children with ADHD, stress reduction and a variety of other topics.

Another unique component of Care and counseling services Center is the availability of a psychological assessment to determine intellectual ability to help in the educational placement and treatment of children and adolescents.

Our Guiding Principle
Care and Counseling Services under the Department of Pastoral Care seeks to provide hope and transformation of lives while revealing the healing presence of God.
