Expansion. It brings visions of innovation, groundbreaking discoveries and better patient care. That’s exactly what is happening behind the scenes of Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute’s $100 million expansion on the Baptist Hospital campus. While modern facilities mean space to develop new programs like the Center for Aneurysm Therapy – the first of its kind in the world – the Center for Advanced Endovascular Therapies and the Center for Structural Heart Therapy, it will also include advanced procedure suites and a larger gallery where our physicians can collaborate and teach the techniques they have pioneered to others from around the world.
As Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute pushes patient care in new directions and builds upon its tradition of innovation, the expansion will bring together the best and brightest minds in medicine and science. They’ll continue to diagnose disease, research new drugs and devices and develop minimally invasive treatments. And they’ll create specialized programs for heart failure, vascular disease and cardiovascular risk reduction.
To transform the way cardiovascular care is delivered, and to offer the most sophisticated services, equipment and facilities must stay on the cutting edge. But our specialists understand that the physical changes are simply the scaffolding for the transformation that will result in the medical excellence necessary to fight cardiovascular disease in revolutionary ways across Baptist Health.
Opening in 2016. At the center of the changing world of cardiovascular disease.
