Bringing together an unmatched dedication to multidisciplinary patient care, cutting-edge technology and innovative cancer treatments, the Cancer Institute will be supported by a clinical and research alliance with one of the leading academic cancer centers in the world. The $430 million, 395,000-square-foot Cancer Institute opened

in January 2017 and will be the primary destination for cancer patients in the southeastern United States, Latin America and the Caribbean. The Miami Cancer Institute is a symbol of medical excellence in every aspect of cancer care, from diagnosis to treatment to research. Miami Cancer Institute is also a symbol of hope, faith and caring, from the building’s design to the specialists, nurses and staff who care for our patients.

A Breakthrough in Collaborative Care

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and Miami Cancer Institute have begun a dynamic and forward-thinking collaboration aimed at improving patient access to the latest and most effective cancer treatment advances and the highest caliber of cancer care. Leaders from both institutions have confirmed the first step in announcing their recently signed agreement for Miami Cancer Institute to join the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Alliance, a unique partnership between Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and community oncology providers that seeks to bring the most current knowledge and advanced cancer care into the community setting.
