The Center for Women & Infants at South Miami Hospital is a one-stop location dedicated in meeting the health and wellness needs of its patients through the continuum of life. As a facility that has been designated as a Center of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology (COEMIG) and having attained The Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval for pre-term labor and prematurity, our focus is to offer the most effective diagnostic and therapeutic techniques and providing less invasive treatments through the integration of clinical practice, research and innovation. We are committed to setting new evidence-based standards in the delivery of women and infant healthcare and to supporting healthcare professionals worldwide by creating and implementing cutting-edge best practices.

Patient Protection
To protect our patients, every research study, registry and clinical trial undergoes rigorous review by the Baptist Health South Florida Institutional Review Board. The Center for Women & Infants has a dedicated research department that coordinates all of our research and works directly with patients enrolled in studies.
