Physical Therapy


At Mariners Hospital Rehabilitation Center, our top priority is your return to an active lifestyle. We work with you to relieve pain, increase mobility, strength and stability and regain y​our independence.

Inpatient, Outpatient Therapy Available
Mariners offers both inpatient and outpatient physical therapy.

As an inpatient, a therapist will visit you in your hospital room, starting you on your way to recovery with a program designed to meet your specific needs.

As an outpatient, you will be partnered with a skilled, experienced therapist with whom you will work each time you come for treatment.

Our physical therapists treat the following conditions:

  • Head, neck and back dysfunction, including disc herniations and stenosis
  • Shoulder injuries, rotator cuff tears
  • Foot/ankle and wrist/hand sprains/strains
  • Sports-related injuries, meniscus tears
  • Shoulder injuries, rotator cuff tears
  • Accident-related injuries
  • Prosthetic training
  • Balance and gait problems
  • Post-surgical rehabilitation​
  • Other conditions such as stroke, Parkinson’s Disease and Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV)

    Our therapists understand how the body works and how pain and physical trauma can limit the body. Through structured exercise, we strive to help you reclaim mobility and combat pain -- getting you back to your life.

    Experienced Team Members

    Jack Butler
    Director of Rehabilitation Services, has a master's degree in physical therapy and 24 years of experience.

    Lisa Paskewich
    has a master's degree in physical therapy and 31 years of experience.

    Jodi Reece has a master’s degree in physical therapy,and 23 years of experience. She is a certified athletic trainer and an American Physical Therapy Association-credentialed clinical instructor.

    Aimee Seiler
    has a doctorate in physical therapy and is certified in the McKenzie Method of mechanical diagnosis and therapy. She has 23 years of experience and is an American Physical Therapy Association-credentialed clinical instructor.

    Jason Seiler

    has a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy and 23 years of experience. He is a certified Kinesio taping practitioner.


    The Mariners Hospital Outpatient Rehabilitation Center, the largest outpatient physical therapy clinic in the Upper Keys, is located on the first floor of the Tassell Medical Arts Building on the Mariners Hospital campus, MM 91.5, Tavernier.

    For more information about our outpatient physical therapy, call 305-434-3702 between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Early and late appointments are available. A physician prescription is required for physical therapy.
