Cancer Services

Mariners Hospital and Miami Cancer Institute are part of Baptist Health South Florida. Mariners Hospital has a limited range of cancer services available, including chemotherapy. All orders for chemotherapy services must come from Miami Cancer Institute oncologists who are credentialed at Mariners.

Imaging Services include X-ray, mammography, endoscopy, ultrasound, nuclear medicine scans, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), computed tomography (CT) and ultrasound-guided needle core breast biopsy.

Surgery is performed in our state-of-the-art operating rooms and includes minimally-invasive surgery.

Outpatient services
Mariners provides outpatient infusions including chemotherapy. Cancer patients who receive chemotherapy must have a consultation with a Baptist Health Miami Cancer Institute oncologist, who will oversee their treatments.

Speech Therapy is available for patients with swallowing problems resulting from head and neck cancer.
