    Pre-registration:
Once your doctor schedules an appointment for your endoscopy at Homestead Hospital, you should receive a call from a Pre-testing Nurse several days  before your procedure to gather your medical history and review your medications; a pre-procedure appointment may be scheduled. If you have not received a call the day before your procedure, call 786-243-8503 or 786-243-8528, Monday through Friday.

    Guests:
At Homestead Hospital, our top priority is the safety of our patients. For this reason, we ask that you bring along a companion, a family member, or a friend to wait while you have your procedure so that they can take you home afterward. If you do not bring a guest, please arrange to have someone pick you up following the procedure for a ride home. For your safety, you will not be permitted to leave the hospital alone after receiving medication. If you should have any questions or concerns regarding this policy, please discuss them with a member of our staff.
