Baptist Health South Florida has teamed up with your employer to present Pineapple Rewards. This loyalty program is designed to thank you and reward you for entrusting your healthcare to Baptist Health. Pineapple Rewards is not an insurance plan. It is a collection of complimentary services and discounts offered to you and your dependents by Baptist Health.

What is the Pineapple Rewards Program?

Baptist Health South Florida has partnered with local companies in Miami-Dade to offer the Pineapple Rewards Program. It is a loyalty program designed to thank employees of these companies for entrusting their healthcare to Baptist Health South Florida and reward them by offering complimentary services and discounts offered by Baptist Health and local vendors in the community. The employees of these companies are called Pineapple Rewards Program Members.
Who is eligible to be a Pineapple Rewards Program Member?

All employees of companies that are participating in the Pineapple Rewards Program are eligible to be PRP Members. Benefits are also extended to immediate family members (spouse/partner and dependents). Family members must be enrolled in PRP to begin using benefits. Click here to enroll.

Individual Pineapple Rewards Program cards will be issued for any family member over 18 years of age. The employee or family members do not need to be insured by the company's health insurance plan in order to receive their Pineapple Rewards Program benefits.
What benefits do Pineapple Rewards Program members receive?

Pineapple Rewards Program Members receive the following benefits:
  • Dedicated concierge line to assist with diagnostic appointments at BHSF facilities or BHMG primary care physicians and also provide physician referrals. The line is available Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm.
  • 50% discount on Baptist Health dining room meals. *Discount is valid on full-price menu items only, not available to combine with other discounts or special offers and additional exclusions may apply. Pineapple Rewards Program Membership card needs to be presented at the time of purchase.
  • 10% discount on Baptist Health Gift Shop purchases. **Discount is not available to combine with other discounts or special offers. Excludes phone cards, books, magazines, perfumes, undergarments, floral arrangements, event tickets, special order merchandise, fine jewelry and sundries. Pineapple Rewards Program Membership card needs to be presented at the time of purchase.
  • Two complementary annual visits for Baptist Health Care on Demand, per registered family member.
  • Complementary valet parking at designated BHSF facilities. ***Pineapple Rewards Program Membership card needs to be presented to the valet attendant.
Are Pineapple Rewards Program Members able to receive their benefits even if their health insurance is not contracted with Baptist Health?

The goals of the Pineapple Rewards Program are to make Baptist Health South Florida more accessible and convenient for employees of companies participating in the Pineapple Rewards Program; compliment employer's existing benefits and wellness programing; and create a rewards system to encourage healthy behaviors and efficient utilization of health care services throughout the community.
Do I need an account to use Care On Demand?

Once you download the Care On Demand app, you will create your profile using basic personal information. You'll then receive an email with instructions on how to access your online account and begin your doctor visit.
How much does a visit cost?

It's $59 per visit, and there's no membership or subscription to the service required.
Is my information secure?

The Care On Demand app allows for a safe and confidential virtual visit with a doctor. All information obtained during enrollment, including your credit card number and personal health details, is protected and HIPAA-compliant.
Can my child visit with a doctor?

Yes, Care On Demand can be used for children ages 2 and up. When you create your profile and select a doctor, you'll be asked whom the visit is for. At that point you'll provide your child's information.
Why do you need to know my state?

Florida is used to connect you with physicians licensed in Florida.
Why am I required to provide my phone number?

In case there's an interruption in service during your session, the provider will be able to call you back. The doctor may also want to follow up with you by phone after your visit.
What does the Message button do?

You can use the Message button to send secure, HIPAA-compliant messages and photos to the doctor. This can be helpful if you need to show images of certain conditions, such as rashes or cuts. Please note that messages are not read immediately and should not be used during your session with the doctor.
