Yaoska P. Pasquier, MSN, AGACNP-BC, is an advanced practice registered nurse at Baptist Health Miami Cancer Institute who specializes in benign hematology. She conducts comprehensive patient assessments, orders diagnostic tests, prescribes medication and manages treatment plans, all within the framework of established protocols with a supervising physician. She combines evidence-based practice with compassion and strives to create individualized care plans that honor each patient's unique circumstances, values and goals.
Ms. Pasquier earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing as well as a master’s degree in nursing from Nova Southeastern University. She is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center in adult-gerontology acute care.
Ms. Pasquier has built a strong nursing career with diverse experience in such areas as primary care, infusion, hematology/oncology, emergency care, skin care and observation/telemetry.
Dedicated to improving patient outcomes, Ms. Pasquier views each patient as a whole person, not just a diagnosis. She provides holistic care that integrates every aspect of a patient's well-being, including physical, psychological and emotional aspects. She strives to build trusting relationships, empower patients through education and advocate for their needs.
Ms. Pasquier is fluent in English and Spanish. When she is not treating patients, she spends quality time with her toddler and fiancé. Together, they enjoy watching movies, traveling, going to the beach, spending time at the pool and playing with their dog.
