Veronica Bellumio is a board-certified nurse practitioner at Baptist Health Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute. Veronica has several years of experience in cardiology, with a special interest in interventional cardiology. She focuses on treating patients with coronary artery disease, structural heart disease and chronic cardiac conditions.
Veronica earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing at the University of Miami in 2011 and began working shortly thereafter in the neonatal intensive care unit. She obtained a master’s degree in nursing in 2014 from the same prestigious institution and earned board certification as a family nurse practitioner. Veronica is also board certified as a clinical cardiac nurse practitioner and will soon earn certification as a cardiometabolic health professional.
Veronica’s commitment to her patients is evident in her comprehensive approach to care, which includes thorough assessments, precise diagnoses and tailored treatment plans.
Veronica is fluent in English and Spanish. When she is not working, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her children, family and friends.
