About Stanton Forrest Dodson, MD
Stanton Forrest Dodson, M.D., is a board-certified surgeon at the Eugene M. & Christine E. Lynn Cancer Institute, part of Baptist Health, at Boca Raton Regional Hospital. He specializes in surgical oncology and the treatment of liver, pancreas, gallbladder and bile duct disorders. He is fluent in English and conversational Spanish. Before joining the Institute, Dr. Dodson completed a fellowship in liver, kidney and multi-organ transplants and hepatobiliary surgery at the University of Pittsburgh. After his fellowship, he continued to perform transplants and hepatobiliary surgery at the university for 10 years. He then moved to Chicago where he was an attending surgeon at Cook County Hospital and an associate professor of surgery and director of the transplantation section at Rush University Medical School in Chicago. He is a member of the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases, International Liver Transplantation Society, American Society of Transplant Surgeons and American Society of Transplant Physicians. Dr. Dodson’s approach to care is to focus on achieving the best surgical outcome for every patient to provide a better quality of life.
