Biography
Spencer Bachow, M.D., is a board-certified medical oncologist and hematologist at the Eugene M. & Christine E. Lynn Cancer Institute, part of Baptist Health, at Boca Raton Regional Hospital. He is also themedical director of the Lynn Cancer Institute/Center for Hematology-Oncology laboratory.
Prior to joining Lynn Cancer Institute in 2017, Dr. Bachow was a fellow in hematology and medical oncology at the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.
He is a principal investigator on multiple clinical trials for hematologic malignancies and genitourinary malignancies. His work has been published in Blood, Annals of Oncology, Haematologica, Current Hematologic Malignancy Reports, and Clinical Advances in Hematology and Oncology.
Dr. Bachow was faculty member of the year for the Florida Atlantic University internal medicine residency program. He is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the American Society of Hematology.
Dr. Bachow’s approach to patient care includes using the latest inevidence-based tests and treatment protocols to provide the best care possible.
When he is not seeing patients, Dr. Bachow enjoys playing tennis, traveling and fixing up his house.
