Dr. Kakoulides is kind, very knowledgeable; highly communicative, generous in spirit, greatly understanding of my thoughts and mental disposition, quite trustworthy in his mannerisms and communications, and has a true concern for my well-being. He was animated his explanation of where I was due to the calcification of my arteries (which he thoroughly explained) so that I might understand medication options & where I was (at a mid-way point between life remaining the same (by pointing to the wall to my right) and heart attack and /or stroke (by pointing to the wall to my left) as he stood in the middle of the room. He was concerned about my mental health and understood that I could be worried, stressful, or worse. The choices were mine to make for treatment, he could only make recommendations. Dr Kakoulides elevated my level of apprehension and concern to one of trust and understanding. I am thankful for his help!

He is an exemplar doctor and an outstanding human being, committed, attentive and kind man - he kept me alive but does more: he encourages and motivates me to stay active, consoles my frustration looking hard for work at age 83 (my continuous up-hill vertical kampf!).
