Ruth Barquero, M.S.N., is a certified nurse practitioner for Baptist Health Miami Neuroscience Institute, specializing in chronic pain management and health education. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
Prior to joining Baptist Health in 2022, Ruth worked as a registered nurse and as a primary cardiology prevention nurse practitioner.
Ruth empowers her patients to care for themselves. She listens closely to her patients to identify the root cause of their problems and offers individualized, whole-person care that is right for them. She teaches her patients and their families about managing their conditions and therapies while encouraging them to make healthier lifestyle choices.
In her free time, Ruth enjoys being active outdoors, traveling, cooking and pursuing photography.
