She completed an internship that focused on internal medicine, general surgery, pediatrics and obstetrics and gynecology at Southern Regional Health Authority in Mandeville, Jamaica. She also completed an internal medicine residency at Palmetto General Hospital in Hialeah, Fla.
Dr. Ibanez Cabrera takes the time to engage with her patients, ensuring they feel heard, respected and empowered in their health journey. Her care philosophy is rooted in building strong relationships, fostering trust and delivering thoughtful, evidence-based care tailored to each individual’s needs.
In addition to English, Dr. Ibanez Cabera is fluent in Spanish. Outside of medicine, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and cherishes playful moments with her daughter. She finds joy in traveling, cooking and tending to her garden, where she reconnects with nature and finds a sense of calm and creativity.
