Ronald Alejandro Mora Arria, MD

Ronald Alejandro Mora Arria, M.D., is a board-certified vascular interventional radiologist with Baptist Health Heart & Vascular Care at Baptist Health Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute. He specializes in the management of complex vascular disease and interventional oncology and practices minimally invasive, image-guided procedures to diagnose and treat conditions affecting the circulatory system and cancer. His expertise includes targeted, catheter-based therapies that allow for precise treatment of tumors and vascular conditions while reducing recovery time and improving patient outcomes.

Dr. Mora has a high-volume clinical focus on treating peripheral artery disease (PAD), aortic disease and venous disease, as well as advanced image-guided oncologic interventions. He is known for his expertise in complex arterial and venous procedures and for using innovative, minimally invasive techniques to help improve patient outcomes.

Dr. Mora earned his medical degree from Universidad Central de Venezuela, Luis Razetti Medical School, in Caracas, Venezuela. He completed a transitional year residency and a diagnostic radiology residency with early specialization in interventional radiology at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. He went on to complete advanced interventional radiology training at Baptist Health Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute, where he developed extensive experience in complex vascular and oncologic interventions.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Mora is actively involved in clinical research and education. He has authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and book chapters and has received national recognition for award-winning presentations at major scientific meetings. He also serves as a mentor to residents and fellows, supporting the development of the next generation of interventional radiologists.
