Curtis Hamburg, M.D., FACC, is a cardiologist at Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute who has more than 35 years of experience in his field. He specializes in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases and defects of the heart and circulatory system. He treats such conditions as heart attacks, heart murmurs, coronary heart disease and hypertension. He is actively involved with numerous clinical research trials to improve the diagnosis and treatment of heart disease. In addition to being a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, he is a member of the American Heart Association.

Dr. Hamburg always takes his time going through the notes from the last visit and getting the information before he addresses me and asks how I feel etc. He is very careful and very detailed oriented. **I wish there was an even higher score - a 6 for 'excellent'. I began to experience an arrhythmia as I sat in the exam room. The assistant immediately called for assistance, she ran an EKG and captured that rhythm for the doctor to see. He then determined that I needed to go directly to the ER - which I did. The quick efficient and professional action of this team was superb!
