Constantino Pena, M.D., is a diagnostic and interventional radiologist at Baptist Health South Florida. Dr. Pena specializes in interventional oncology. He is fluent in English and Spanish. Prior to joining Baptist Health in 2005, Dr. Pena served as the director of interventional radiology at Mercy Hospital. Dr. Pena’s research has been published in dozens of peer-reviewed scientific publications, including the Seminars in Interventional Radiology, Journal of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography, Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology, and Journal of Vascular Surgery. He has presented at numerous national and international medical conferences and events. Dr Pena has held national leadership positions serving as the Chair of the Cardiovascular Imaging and Intervention section of the American Heart Association as well as the Annual Meeting Chair of the Society of Interventional Radiology.Dr. Pena currently serves as a clinical associate professor of radiology at Florida International University’s Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine and a collaborative associate professor of radiology at the University of South Florida College of Medicine. Dr. Pena’s care philosophy is to treat every patient in the manner he would want to be treated. When he is not treating patients, Dr. Pena enjoys running, biking and traveling with his family.
