About Neil Miransky, DO
Neil Miransky, D.O., is a board-certified Baptist Health palliative medicine specialist, serves as the chief medical officer of pharmacy services and operates Sickle Cell Care in South Miami.
Before joining Baptist Health in 2023, Dr. Miransky worked as medical director of hospice and palliative care at Broward Health in Fort Lauderdale. After earning his medical degree from Nova Southeastern School of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Miransky completed his residency in family medicine at Broward Health Medical Center, serving as chief resident. He then continued his medical training at Broward Health Medical Center with a fellowship in hospice and palliative medicine. He is an active, well-known presenter at national conferences and is a member of the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine, American Osteopathic Association, American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, and the Society of Pain and Palliative Care Pharmacists.
As a palliative medicine specialist, Dr. Miransky sees a wide range of patients, including those who are very sick. He is committed to helping each person find the right medicine and treatment that best fit their unique needs. He works to form trusting, helpful and honest relationships with his patients to develop interventions that align with how they want to live their lives. Dr. Miransky is also passionate about working to improve healthcare delivery systems and processes. He believes customizing and adjusting the way systems operate can lead to improved methods of care for patients.
In his free time, Dr. Miransky enjoys reading and spending time with his family and pets.
