Monise Joseph, APRN, is a board-certified nurse practitioner, specializing in interventional neuroradiology at Baptist Health Miami Neuroscience Institute.
Monise assesses and consults with patients for interventional procedures. She provides post-procedure and follow-up care, including physical exams, preoperative medication administration, history evaluations and laboratory data collection.
Prior to joining the Miami Neuroscience Institute interventional neuroradiology team, Monise served as a registered nurse for more than 19 years. As a Memorial Healthcare System RN, she gained experience caring for critically ill patients in the trauma, neurosurgical intensive care and kidney transplant units.
After earning her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Florida Atlantic University College of Nursing, she completed her master’s degree in nursing from Barry University.
With a focus on family-centered care, Monise engages with patients and their loved ones to provide comfort during stressful situations. Through active listening, continuous communication and shared decision-making, she excels at helping families navigate tough times.
In her free time, Monise enjoys listening to gospel music and volunteering with women inmates in a local detention center.
