About Lyle Craig Feinstein, MD
Lyle Feinstein, M.D., is a hematologist oncologist at Baptist Health Miami Cancer Institute. He specializes in the management of acute leukemia and offers advanced immunotherapies such as bone marrow transplant, chimeric antigen receptor T-cell therapy and bispecific T cell engager therapy. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in internal medicine and medical oncology.
Prior to joining Miami Cancer Institute, Dr. Feinstein served nine years as director of the Blood and Bone Marrow Transplant Program at Memorial Cancer Institute, Memorial Healthcare System in Pembroke Pines.
Dr. Feinstein has published his work in scientific journals and presented at medical conferences. He is a member of several professional organizations.
Dr. Feinstein earned his medical degree at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He completed an internal medicine residency at the University of Washington and a medical oncology fellowship at the University of Washington Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, both located in Seattle.
Being a cancer survivor gives Dr. Feinstein a unique perspective. He encourages his patients to address the initial shock of a cancer diagnosis by focusing on aspects that are within their control, such as adopting a healthy diet and engaging in regular exercise, and allowing the cancer care team to manage the treatment process.
Dr. Feinstein is a lifelong martial artist. When he is not training or treating patients, he enjoys spending time with his family.
