Lisa Davis is a certified physician assistant at Baptist Health Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute. She specializes in preventive cardiology and manages patients in the lipid and cardiometabolic programs.
Lisa completed her physician assistant education at Medical College of Pennsylvania Hahnemann University, where she was inducted into the Alpha Eta National Honor Society. She furthered her education and training by earning a Doctor of Medical Science degree at A.T. Still University and certification as clinical lipid specialist.
Lisa participates in clinical research and serves on national committees focusing on cardiometabolic health. She has shared her knowledge of cardiovascular disease risk reduction on Baptist HealthTalk podcasts and South Florida PBS Health Channel programs. In 2019, she was named Baptist Health Medical Group’s Physician Assistant of the Year.
To help patients achieve their health goals, Lisa follows a collaborative care model. She establishes a partnership with patients through active listening and discussions and takes time to ensure they understand their risk, condition and treatment recommendations.
When she is not working, Lisa enjoys spending time with her family.
