About Leonard Alan Kalman, MD
Leonard Kalman, M.D., an oncologist, is Interim System Chief Executive for Baptist Health Cancer Care and Interim Executive Medical Director for Miami Cancer Institute. He received his medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine. He completed an internship in internal medicine at Presbyterian-University Hospital, University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. He then was assistant resident in obstetrics and gynecology at Boston Hospital for Women/Harvard Medical School, and assistant resident in internal medicine at the Hospital of the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He completed a fellowship in medical oncology at Memorial Hospital, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New York, where he was also a research fellow. Dr. Kalman is Board-certified in internal medicine and medical oncology.
