Kriti Ahuja, MD

Kriti Ahuja, M.D., is a board-certified medical oncologist at Baptist Health Wertheim Cancer Institute specializing in breast cancer. Her clinical interests focus on the comprehensive treatment of patients with breast malignancies, while her research has explored breast cancer, cancer survivorship, second primary malignancies and novel cancer therapies.
 
Dr. Ahuja earned her medical degree from Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi, India. She completed an internal medicine residency at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County in Chicago before pursuing a hematology and medical oncology fellowship at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center through the University at Buffalo in New York.
 
Throughout her training, Dr. Ahuja has contributed extensively to oncology research, authoring numerous peer-reviewed publications and presenting her work at national and international scientific meetings, including ASCO, SABCS and ASH.
 
Dr. Ahuja believes in providing compassionate, patient-centered care that aligns with each individual's goals, values and preferences. She works closely with patients and their families to develop personalized treatment plans while ensuring they feel informed, supported and empowered throughout every stage of their cancer journey.
 
Dr. Ahuja is fluent in English and Hindi. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, swimming and painting.
