Kristen Wood, MSN, APRN, is a board-certified nurse practitioner specializing in neurology at Baptist Health Miami Neuroscience Institute.
Before transitioning to her current role in neurology at Miami Neuroscience Institute, Kristen worked as an intensive care unit nurse for 10 years. She cared for patients with multiple organ failure and specialized in neurology, cardio-thoracic and end-stage renal disease.
She earned her master’s degree in nursing from Nova Southeastern University in 2022.
Using innovative evidence-based practices, Kristen collaborates with the neurology team to provide outstanding patient-first care.
When she is not working, Kristen enjoys traveling and reading.
