Jose Alexander Chavez Gonzalez, M.D., is a board-certified family medicine physician at Baptist Health Primary Care. Prior to joining Baptist Health, Dr. Chavez Gonzalez was a family medicine physician at Cedars-Sinai Connect in Beverly Hills, Calif.
Dr. Chavez Gonzalez earned his medical degree at the Universidad de El Salvador Faculty of Medicine in San Salvador. He completed a family medicine internship and a family medicine residency at the University of California, Riverside, School of Medicine.
Dr. Chavez Gonzalez is committed to enhancing the health and wellness of the community. He provides his patients with culturally competent care to improve their health outcomes and reduce racial and ethnic health disparities.
Dr. Chavez Gonzalez is fluent in English and Spanish. During his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, reading, playing sports and spending time outdoors.
