Jeremy Tharkur, M.D., is a board-certified family medicine physician at Baptist Health Primary Care. Dr. Tharkur specializes in preventative primary care.
Prior to joining Baptist Health Primary Care in 2022, Dr. Tharkur completed his family medicine residency at Orange Park Medical Center in Orange Park, FL.
During his residency, he earned the 2019 Intern of the Year award and served as co-junior chief resident for the inpatient family medicine rotation. He’s published nanotechnology research papers in the Journal of Research Analytica and SPIE. Dr. Tharkur’s approach to patient care is to treat each person as a family member. He believes that the best healthcare is achieved through an effective doctor-patient partnership.
When he is not treating patients, he enjoys spending time with his family, cooking, playing chess and traveling.

There are not enough words that could describe Dr. Tharkur's care for his patients. He gives 110% of himself while attending your needs. He is the best family doctor that I ever had and I recommend him every chance I get. May God bless him always.

Dr Tharkur is the best doctor I have ever had. He has a vast knowledge, he listens attentively, is very detailed oriented and always takes my thoughts and feelings into consideration. He provides his professional opinion with details and reasoning that is easy to understand and involves me in any decision towards my health. I always feel heard and respected. I always feel He has my best interest at heart and I am very confident with his expertise and advice. Dr. Tharkur has never made me feel rushed in any of my appointments. He also cared for my mother and provided care above and beyond. I recommend him to anyone seeking excellent care and have many friends who are now his patients.

Tharkur is an exceptional doctor, and the PA and NP were equally fantastic. There was another woman who also was wonderful and supportive when I almost passed out during blood draw (my fault). Great people work here and I will drive however far to always come to this office.

I saw Dr. Tharkur for a pre-op since my PCP was on maternity leave. I find Dr. Tharkur extremely knowledgeable, courteous and friendly.
