Jared Goldstein, M.D., is a urologist and urologic surgeon at Baptist Health Urology who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of a broad range of urologic conditions, including benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), kidney and bladder stones, urinary retention, hematuria (blood in the urine), overactive bladder, urinary incontinence and cancers of the bladder, kidney, ureter and prostate. He also has clinical expertise in men’s health, with a focus on erectile dysfunction and the management of elevated prostate-specific antigen (PSA) levels.
Dr. Goldstein performs a wide range of procedures, including vasectomy, penile and scrotal surgery, prostate biopsy, advanced treatments for BPH and kidney and bladder stone surgery. Whenever appropriate, he utilizes minimally invasive techniques to promote faster recovery and optimal outcomes.
Dr. Goldstein earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida, graduating summa cum laude, and a master’s degree in biomedical sciences from the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. He received his medical degree from Florida Atlantic University Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society in recognition of his academic excellence, leadership and research contributions. He went on to complete a five-year residency in urologic surgery at Brown University’s Warren Alpert Medical School, where he served as chief resident.
Dr. Goldstein has authored several peer-reviewed publications and contributed a textbook chapter on kidney stones. He is an active member of the American Urological Association and the American College of Surgeons.
