Indiana Alcala, MSN, APRN, is a board-certified nurse practitioner at Baptist Health Miami Neuroscience Institute. She cares for patients who need, or who have undergone, endovascular neuroradiology procedures (minimally invasive procedures that treat vascular disorders of the brain, spinal cord, head and neck).
As part of the Institute’s Interventional Neuroradiology team, Indiana performs consultations and assessments for people in both inpatient and outpatient settings. When Indiana joined Baptist Health, she served as an intensive care unit nurse.
Indiana earned her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in nursing from Barry University.
Committed to improving patient outcomes, Indiana prioritizes safety by educating people and their families about their condition and treatment options.
When she is not at work, Indiana is an avid long-distance runner and enjoys spending time with her family.
