I was extremely impressed with Dr. Pascual. I came in with AFib and I had a stroke a few years ago that was caused by a vasorestriction from a Migraine headache. Dr. Pascual listened to me and we came up with a plan for me to avoid all triggers for AFib that we identified and advised me if I could monitor my AFib and stay out of AFib through these lifestyle changes, then I would not need blood thinners or a procedure. I have lost a portion of my visual field and I snow ski a lot, and so I fall very frequently and am more likely to have a concussion than a blood clot. Every other cardiologist I have seen was not able to understand all of this. They wanted me on Eliquis and they wanted to implant a Watchman device in my Atrium. I was so frustrated I walked out of the other office without a treatment plan. With Dr. Pascual's advice I am monitoring my heart, staying out of AFib without medication or intervention, and going off to ski. His care and attention made a real impact on the quality of my life. I am so grateful.
