About Giuseppe Gabriele-Franco Paese, DO
Giuseppe G.F. Paese, D.O., FAAPMR, is a fellowship-trained, board-certified physician specializing in pain medicine, physical medicine and rehabilitation at Baptist Health Orthopedic Care. He is dedicated to the comprehensive treatment of acute and chronic pain, as well as the full rehabilitation of the body.
He specializes in regenerative medicine and utilizes advanced, minimally invasive procedures for the treatment of spine and joint pain, including spinal cord stimulators, peripheral nerve stimulation, nerve ablations, pain pumps, kyphoplasty, discectomies, lateral transverse arthrodesis technique, and sacroiliac joint fusions.
Before joining Baptist Health, Dr. Paese served as Director of Pain Medicine and Medical Director at several esteemed institutions in Florida and Michigan, including Holy Cross Hospital, Florida Spine & Sports Specialists, and Mendelson & Kornblum Orthopedics. In addition to his clinical roles, he has held academic appointments as a clinical instructor and contributed to training the next generation of physicians.
Dr. Paese completed his physical medicine and rehabilitation residency and his anesthesia pain medicine fellowship at Wayne State University/Detroit Medical Center. His postdoctoral training also includes fellowships in regenerative and anti-aging medicine.
He is a published researcher and educator, having led multiple clinical studies and presented his findings at national conferences. He is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American Academy of Pain Medicine, American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, and American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians.
Dr. Paese believes in providing compassionate, patient-centered care that empowers individuals to participate fully in their own recovery and quality of life. He is fluent in English and Italian. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling and spending time with family.
