Emma L. Ducca, Ph.D., is a neuropsychologist at Baptist Health Miami Neuroscience Institute. She specializes in clinical neuropsychology and conducts evaluations on patients who have neurologic, psychiatric and other medical concerns. She has expertise in epilepsy, traumatic brain injuries and neurodegenerative disorders and is trained in cognitive behavioral therapy.
Dr. Ducca earned a master’s degree as well as a doctorate degree in clinical psychology at St. John’s University – Jamaica in New York. She completed her internship in clinical psychology with a concentration in neuropsychology at Long Island Jewish Medical Center-Zucker Hillside Hospital, Northwell Health in New York and a two-year, post-doctoral fellowship in neuropsychology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in Miami.
Dr. Ducca has conducted research in her specialty and published her work in medical journals and presented abstracts at medical symposiums.
To deliver the best patient care, Dr. Ducca integrates high-quality, evidence-based and culturally informed practices with individual patient needs. Her goal is to balance these factors and gather information from the neuropsychological exam to conduct a comprehensive and patient-centered evaluation.
When Dr. Ducca is not treating patients, she enjoys reading, exercising and being outdoors.
