Emilia Gucciardo is a board-certified physician assistant at Baptist Health Miami Cardiac & Vascular Institute. She specializes in caring for patients in the cardiovascular risk reduction programs, including the cardiometabolic program, lipid management program, and hypertension treatment program.
Before joining Baptist Health, Emilia completed a bachelor’s degree in biology at Florida International University, where she also earned a master’s degree in physician assistant studies. Emilia worked for three years with a team of primary care physicians before transitioning to the cardiology specialty.
Dedicated to providing patient-centered care, Emilia takes time to get to know her patients, assess their independent cardiovascular risk and provide appropriate care to help them achieve their goals.
Emelia is fluent in English and Spanish. In her free time, she enjoys exercising, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.
