About Elizabeth Ann Babin, MD
Elizabeth Babin, M.D., is a board-certified obstetrics and gynecology physician and fellowship-trained urogynecologist at Christine E. Lynn Women’s Health & Wellness Institute in Boca Raton, part of Baptist Health South Florida. She is the director of the Barbara Gutin Center for Pelvic Health and provides care for women with pelvic floor disorders, including urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse, overactive bladder, recurrent urinary tract infections, pelvic pain and voiding dysfunction.
Dr. Babin specializes in urogynecology and reconstructive pelvic surgery. Her clinical interests include minimally invasive and robotic pelvic reconstructive surgery, as well as advancing women’s pelvic health through education, research and innovation.
Before joining Baptist Health, Dr. Babin was a female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgeon with BocaCare in Boca Raton. She is affiliated with Boca Raton Regional Hospital. Dr. Babin earned her medical degree at the University of Arizona Medical School in Tucson. She completed an obstetrics and gynecology internship and residency at University of Arizona Medical Center and a urogynecology fellowship at Stormont Vail Hospital/Lincoln Center Urogynecology in Topeka, Kan. She also holds a master’s degree in pharmacology and a bachelor’s degree with honors in molecular and cellular biology from the University of Arizona.
Dr. Babin is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and holds subspecialty certification in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery. She is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of the American Urogynecologic Society, American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists, International Continence Society, International Urogynecological Association, International Organization for Women and Development and American Medical Association.
Dr. Babin believes every woman deserves to feel heard, respected and empowered. She takes the time to understand how pelvic floor disorders affect each patient’s quality of life and partners with patients to develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans. Whether through conservative therapies or advanced surgical care, her goal is to provide compassionate care that restores confidence, function and quality of life.
When she is not treating patients, Dr. Babin enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, boating, scuba diving, skiing, hiking, golfing, playing pickleball and country dancing.
