About Claudia Cecilia Corrales Sanchez, MD
Claudia Corrales, M.D., is a board-certified neurohospitalist at Marcus Neuroscience Institute, a part of Baptist Health. Dr. Corrales specializes in neuroimmunological disorders, sleep-disordered breathing, headaches, cognitive disorders, neurovascular disorders and general neurology. She is fluent in English and Spanish.
Prior to joining Marcus Neuroscience Institute in 2021, Dr. Corrales was a neurologist and sleep medicine specialist at LewisGale Medical Center in Salem, Virginia.
Dr. Corrales’ care philosophy is to be compassionate and diligent. With every patient, she tries to put herself in their shoes to better understand their full situation and give holistic treatment. What she values most about her job is the opportunity to continue to learn every single day.
When she is not treating patients, Dr. Corrales enjoys spending time with her kids.
