About Biana Manchik-Schwartz, MD
Biana Manchik, M.D., is a board-certified family medicine physician with Baptist Health Primary Care. She provides comprehensive healthcare for patients of all ages and genders. In addition to diagnosing and treating illnesses, she provides preventive care, health-risk assessments, immunization and screening tests and personalized counseling on maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Her clinical interests include mental health, women's health and diabetes and hypertension management.
Prior to joining Baptist Health Primary Care, Dr. Manchik was a family medicine physician at Sylvan Medical Center in Alberta, Canada. Dr. Manchik earned her medical degree at Saba University School of Medicine, located in Saba in the Dutch Caribbean. She completed a residency in family medicine at Wheeling Hospital in Wheeling, W.V. Dr. Manchik is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
To deliver the best patient care, Dr. Manchik takes time to get to know her patients and their family members. She strives to develop trusting relationships and maintain open, two-way communication.
Dr. Manchik is fluent in English, French and Russian. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, doing puzzles, going for long walks with her dog and playing with her children.
