My Doctor, Bernardo Lopez-Sanabria is always concerned for my wellbeing. He spends time asking How I feel,how my family is and how my life in general is. That kind of care encourages one to share And speak up about any health concerns. Every visit we go over my medication and dosages . My DoctorAlways encourages questions and always listens to my responses carefully. I always feel that my input about my Heart is important to him and that I am a valued participant in the health care he provides to me. I met Dr. Lopez-Sanabria in the emergency room after being transported there by Fire Rescue. He gave me my Dignosis and carefully explained the The surgical procedure necessary to eliminate blockages of my Coronary arteries. It was one of the scariest moments of my life. He clearly recognized This and took his time , explained everything and provided kind and caring reassurance. He understood the level of fear I had as we had discussed the fact that my husband had died 10 years previously from a sudden Heart Attack at home and that I had two sons In high school that desperately needed their Mom alive. He spent a lot of time that night making sure I understood everything , that We would get through this and that I had a great team and that they would be by my side.I developed great trust in my Doctor that night and continue to see him twelve years later. I think our partnership in managing my Heart disease has improved my life greatly and through trust and communication it will continue for many years.
