About Angel Rodolfo Alejandro, MD
Angel Alejandro, M.D., is a board-certified endocrinologist at Baptist Health. Dr. Alejandro specializes in diabetes, thyroid care and osteoporosis. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
Prior to joining Baptist Health in 2023, Dr. Alejandro worked as the director of endocrinology at Leon Medical Centers in Miami. Dr. Alejandro played a key role in establishing programs using technology for diabetes control. His research currently focuses on osteoporosis and reducing fractures in women with breast cancer, and he most recently published an abstract at the ENDO 2022 conference. A member of the Endocrine Society, he received his medical degree from Cornell University, which is one of the top 10 medical schools in the United States.
Dr. Alejandro’s approach to care is to educate patients, ensuring they understand their disease and treatment plan.
When he is not treating patients, Dr. Alejandro enjoys following Miami sports teams and spending time with his family.
