Ahmad Ali Daher, D.O., is a family medicine physician at Baptist Health Primary Care. He provides comprehensive primary care, including preventive care, chronic disease management, wellness and lifestyle counseling and care for acute illnesses. His clinical interests include preventive medicine, sports medicine and ringside medicine. His training also includes women’s health, behavioral health evaluation and musculoskeletal injury evaluation.
Prior to joining Baptist Health, Dr. Daher completed his family medicine residency at Detroit Medical Center (Sinai-Grace) in affiliation with Michigan State University.
Dr. Daher earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed a transitional year internship at Detroit Medical Center in affiliation with Wayne State University and a family medicine residency at Detroit Medical Center (Sinai-Grace) in affiliation with Michigan State University. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, American Medical Society for Sports Medicine and Association of Ringside Physicians.
Dr. Daher’s approach to patient care emphasizes the relationship between lifestyle and health. He takes time to understand his patients’ habits and circumstances and uses that information to help manage existing conditions and prevent disease.
He speaks English and Arabic.
When he is not treating patients, Dr. Daher enjoys watching and playing soccer, training in Muay Thai, traveling and spending time with his cat.
